The FUIC consists of Foundation University Medical College (FUMC), Foundation University College of Dentistry (FUCD), Foundation University Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (FUIRS), the University Secretariat and Fauji Foundation Hospital (FFH) (Teaching Hospital of FUMC).
Foundation University Medical College (FUMC): The Foundation University Medical College (FUMC) was established in the year 2000. The intake of the College is 150 students per year. FUMC is also recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP) for FCPS Part II training. The College is housed in a modern complex of its own, with hostels for boys and girls located within the same premises. The College is listed in the International Medical Education Directory (IMED) and is a member of International Association of Medical Regulatory Authority (IAMRA). The College has also been included in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDMS) by WHO, making its students eligible to appear in the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and United Kingdom Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB). Conventional modalities of teaching in the form of lectures, seminars, classroom laboratory teaching has been replaced at FUMC by integrated modular systems like PBL (Problem Based Learning) which is more patient oriented and evidence based. The College is also regularly publishing a multi-disciplinary Journal of Bio-medical Sciences.
Foundation University College of Dentistry (FUCD): The Foundation University College of Dentistry is providing dental education of international standard in Pakistan with a student intake of 50 per year. Pioneer batch of the BDS programme is inducted in the year 2016. The College is equipped with modern dental equipment, teaching aids, state-of-the-art labs, well-resourced lecture halls and qualified faculty of Dentists to provide dental care to the general public and beneficiaries of Fauji Foundation.
Foundation University Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (FUIRS): The University has launched Doctor of Physical Therapy programmew.e.f. Fall 2014 at FUIRS, which is another landmark addition to the University's Islamabad Campus. The duration of programme is 5 years with 50 students’ intake in each batch.
Fauji Foundation Hospital (FFH): The Fauji Foundation Hospital, Rawalpindi (A Teaching Hospital of FUMC) with the capacity of 750 beds is the flagship of Fauji Foundation Welfare Health Projects with an annual budget of about Rs. 2.4 billion. The FF Hospital, Rawalpindi is equipped with state of the art facilities and can be compared favourably with any other modern hospital of international repute.
